Up at 6. Packed. Will leave for airport around 10. Flight at 12:10 PM.

Flight was on time. Arrived home ahead of schedule. Dan met me at curb.

Up at 6. Office by 8:30. Suppose to be hot again today, nearing 100.

Yes, today it got really hot. Temp at 3 is 95. Ugh.

Dan - today I converted my production over to Windows 7. Still have Vista for backup.

Eventually peaked at 101.

Had lovely supper outside by the pool. Temp by 7 was down to 80.

Quiet evening outside.

Up at 6. Office by 8:30.

Quiet morning at office.

Left at 2 to help with grandkids.

Took Tristan to swimming lessons.

Had delicious supper in downtown Pleasanton.

Day time was very hot - high of 95.

Evening in back yard was lovely. Ate peaches & plums from Chris & Lara's trees.

Up at 6. Sunday. Can't sleep.

Quiet morning. Went to Fry's Electronics this afternoon.

This morning I took pictures all over M&M's back yard. Lots of pictures of their "gardens". Enjoy.

Up at 6.

Went to office 'bout 9.

Messed around till noon waiting for an "emergency" repair laptop from Fed Ex.

Worked about 3 hours tearing laptop apart, replacing the fan.

Took the repaired laptop to Fed Ex in Union City.

Then drove on up to Walnut Creek to buy the new truck we looked at earlier in the week.

Drove home in the new truck stopping to have Chinese dinner on the way. mmmmm..... good.

Delivered the cleaned up laptop to A.G.I. in San Jose.

Had a delicious Mexican dinner this evening at El Torito's.

Went over to Sun - Menlo Park to deliver a laptop and pick up another.

Had a wonderful supper including rice pudding. mmmmmmmmm....... good!

Watched International Space Station streak across the sky at sunset.

Spent morning at A.G.I., a client, fixing problems and picked up a laptop with a virus for repair.

Great lunch at De La Cruz deli.

Now at Sun (Oracle) fixing problems and picking up another laptop that needs repair.

This evening, Chris, Lara, Lara's dad, Aziz, the the 3 kids, Julian, Holden, & Tristen came down for supper on the patio. Kids then went swimming followed by a family baseball game in the back yard. I'll post more pictures tomorrow.

Drove to Walnut Creek & Livermore to look at new trucks.

Quiet evening at home with supper of Shepherd's Pie. mmmm... good.

Up at 6. At M&M's office at 8:30. Some office furniture has disappeared in preparation for their move back to their house.

Sold some partitioning during the day.

Went to look a new business truck.

Went home early, 'bout 2. Relaxed for the remainder of the day.

Up at 6. Breakfast at hotel coffee shop.

Morning to pack.

Airport at noon.

2:15 flight to San Jose where Mike & Mary will meet me.

Flight north was on time and smooth.

Evening with Mike & Mary got me caught up on what had changed at their place: flowering trees, flowers, garden, machinery, broken chopper, etc.

Up at 6 for 8:30 meeting with judges from across the country.

Meeting lasted so long that I missed Collegiate Contest.

Had a nice 2 hour nap in the afternoon.

Met several members near Honda Center for wonderful dinner with Don Mueller

Quartet finals were a bit boring.

Got home 'bout 11:30 & went to bed.

1 Up at 6. Ready for the big day.

2 Had a group breakfast at local IHOP.

3 Meet at rehearsal at 10:30.

4 Contest prep went great.

5 The on stage performance felt awesome. But we won't know how well we did till late this evening after the 2nd chorus session that begins at 6.

6 Results: First, St. Charles; Second, Vocal Majority, Third, GNU. We were ecstatic.

7 Afterglow at Clarion was joyous.

1 Yes, I know I need to add more explanations and align the existing ones with the pictures. Sorry for the delay, but I need to get to supper with Gene & Sharon Rague.

2 Up at 6, breakfast at the hotel coffee shop, then 7:30 bus to the Good News Gospel Sing performance at 9. Our performance went great.

10 Then changed back to "street clothes" and spent afternoon at the quartet semi-finals where the top 20 quartets performed - lots of good singing.

11 Finally met up with Gene & Sharon Rague from San Diego and had a wonderful supper and lots of good conversation. But I forgot to take a picture of us at supper. I could kick myself.

Up at 6, as usual. All packed. Ready to wait for Kathy, who's picking me up at 10. I'll add to this throughout the day.

At 8:30, main bag at front door. Only this computer left to pack.

Kath took me to the airport. Flight was on time. Prepaid airport shuttle worked fine. Hotel is great.

Had a great dinner at the local Cheesecake Factory. Resting till rehearsal at 9:45 PM.

Dinner guests: Jeff, Jim, John, Bob, John, Roger, Doug.

Had a great rehearsal, finishing about midnight.

I'll be departing MSP on Wednesday noon arriving Anaheim mid afternoon. We have rehearsals on Wednesday & Thursday evening. Thursday morning we're performing at the Good News Gospel Concert. Friday is contest day. C&J meetings are Saturday morning. Sunday I depart for San Jose.
